The Journey
Before Harmonia became a space, it was a question. A question about why people, even when successful and accomplished, carried such unrest within them.
Dr. Raman Sidhu’s journey began in listening and attempting an answer to this question.
In his early professional years, he worked at the highest levels of global organisations, building a successful career as an HR leader across multinational companies. From boardrooms to one-on-one conversations, he witnessed the human side of ambition like burnout, unspoken grief, anxiety and self-doubt. He saw how identity, purpose, and emotional well-being were rarely given space to breathe.
This proximity to human complexity planted a deeper calling in him.

Realisations
Gradually, the work shifted from managing performance to understanding people, and their inner worlds. This curiosity led Dr. Raman into formal psychotherapeutic training, where he immersed himself in Western clinical frameworks grounded in ethics, evidence, and care. But something still felt incomplete.
Healing, he observed, was rarely linear, and often couldn’t be contained within words alone. Emotional pain lived in the body. Trauma echoed through the nervous system. This is where Eastern traditions entered as a complement to his scientific temperament.

Elevating Consciousness
Through years of study and practice in Yoga, Meditation and Yoga Nidra learning from the Sivananda Ashram and Shrimath Yoga in India, and later teaching Hatha Yoga and the meditative traditions of Patanjali’s Ashtanga lineage, Dr. Raman deepened his understanding of consciousness, presence, and embodied awareness. These practices explained something that psychotherapy alone could not like stillness, self-regulation, and inner awareness.

Development of ASCT
Drawing from his experiences, Dr. Raman developed his proprietary approach called Altered State of Consciousness Therapy (ASCT) that blends contemporary psychotherapy with contemplative traditions. ASCT allows clients to access deeper layers of awareness, often facilitating profound shifts while gently compressing the length of the therapeutic journey. It honours both science and intuition.

Harmonia - Healing begins within
Harmonia is a reflection of this journey. A space shaped by the belief that healing must be human, consent-led, and deeply respectful of each individual’s pace. A place where mental, emotional, physiological, and spiritual dimensions are not treated in isolation, but held together in coherence.
